Look Away, Now Look Back by SharpAce Look Away, Now Look Back by SharpAce
Oh, oh, look. Old artwork and new artwork. What a crazy piece this is.

It should be noted that I hadn't even considered the possibility of digital drawings in 2007. Everything was done in pencil or pen back then. Ah, good times, good times...

On a side note:
The note on the left of the 2007 piece is, "5 second drawing of a demented squirrel. My mom thinks it's cute so I won't erase it."

Thank you!

Adobe Photoshop CS2. But the functions I used for it could be found on just about any version of Photoshop. :P

Ha. Yep. This is why I was sure I wouldn't have gotten into the VA department if I auditioned in 2007.

I love these sorts of comparisons.

And your note about not erasing the demented squirrel totally reminds me of my own sketchbook annotations.
"I was going to scribble over this, but so-and-so likes it so I guess it can stay."
It's fun to look back at things like that.

Well, I used to draw something like 1-3 pictures a day. I literally have a sketchbook for every month or two for the years 2007- 2008. I, also, tried to do as many quick sketches as possible when I went out. At home,I kept a mirror around for expressions and a friend around for poses. But with the internet now, I just look up tutorials and ask other artists about their techniques.

You can find some of the tutorials I like in my favorites.

I hope this helps!
